Grand Europe Hotel is one of the first five-star hotels in St. Petersburg. The Hotel’s building was built in accordance with the project of Karlo in the beginning of the XIX century. Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and his wife spent here their honey moon, Rasputin used to have dinner here, Bernard Show saw Maxim Gorky here, Dmitriy Shostakovich used to play sonatas to Sergey Prokofiev. The Hotel is situated in the heart of the city on Neva, in the vicinity of Russian museum and not far from the Hermitage. The building preserved the charming of old times; at the same time all rooms are well equipped technically, which answer to requirements of the most demanding guests. There are 301 rooms in the hotel, including 10 unique luxe apartments which were named in honour of great art actors: apartments of Lidval, Pavarotti, Stravinsky, Dostoyevsky, Faberge. The design of each room is unique and reflects the names of those persons, many rooms are decorated with valuable antiques, which beautified the rooms of the hotel even before the revolution. At the same time, there is Wi-Fi, phone with direct international connection, satellite TV and radio, minibar and safe in each room. There are five splendid restaurants of French, Italian and Chinese cuisine, twenty-four-hour lobby bar and café \"Mesonin\". There is the Club of Health and swimming pool, fitness centre, sauna, solarium, massage cabinet and beauty salon.
